Creating Genuine Hershey Happiness
Hershey's Chocolate World in Times Square needed to create a modern facility to keep up with today's tech savvy consumers, but one that would still stay true to the company's brands. FRCH was tasked with creating a global prototype design that could be applied for franchisees at a variety of levels.
In response, FRCH created an engaging store that mixes interactive elements with design nods to the company's three core brands, Hershey's®, Kisses® and Reese's®. The design incorporates iconic and memorable colors, shapes and attributes of Hershey's products and builds upon the feeling of genuine "Hershey's happiness." The store engages customers, encouraging them to taste, touch and share the merchandise. To appeal to the tech savvy consumer, a virtual media wall was implemented into the design. Content for the wall can be altered with ease, giving it the capability to set the tone for the entire store, whether it is a calming theme at the end of the day or an upbeat theme for afternoon traffic. Interactive merchandising combined with engaging technology draw attention to this space and establish it as a destination.
