Retail Store Of The Year 2011
Liverpool wanted to create a neighborhood oasis for its newest store location at Interlomas, a suburb of Mexico City. More than a store, Liverpool's intention was for FRCH to create a social space that would serve as a respite for the entire community.
At Liverpool Interlomas, customers are greeted by a three-story atrium full of movement and filtered light. Easy to navigate, the floor plan design makes the store convienient and accessible. Distinct architectural features, anchored by large points of visual interest, serve as a beacon for each merchandise category, flowing along curved aisles that provide a sweeping vista between departments. The journey culminates on the rooftop, where a 35,000 sq. ft. urban park provides a communal gathering place for the surrounding population. The innovative design for Liverpool Interlomas was accredited by Chain Store Age as Retail Store of the Year in 2011.
