Smart Campus Solutions
The University of Cincinnati's Raymond Walters College contracted FRCH to develop concept design studies for a future academic building as part of the vision for the Raymond Walters College Master Plan.
Based on our initial concept designs, several solutions were studied to test out the objectives of the campus's 10-year development plan and long-term master plan. The concept design studies were for the UC/Raymond Walters' new 4-story, 75,000 sq. ft. academic and administration building, which includes college network services and IT, classrooms, teaching labs, conference rooms, offices and the Office of the Dean. The building will be located at the campus core and function as an inviting element within the existing East Campus Green, it will also begin to establish the first phase of the planned South Quad. Design solutions exemplify building components that meet the required criteria for LEED NC Silver Certification.
